Slow down to gain respect : (adopted from the Editors of Communication Briefings, May 2003 issue :”…if you speak too quickly, you sound as if you’re just throwing ideas out. You also may give the impression you don’t think what you’re saying is important. Learn to slow down and emphasize a word or syllable here and there. That helps listeners take you seriously.”
