McGill Toastmasters Club Summer break

As a result of the statutory holidays (June 24th and July 1st), McGill Toastmasters Club will not have any meeting on those days. Our first meeting after the break will be held on Tuesday, July 8th.

If you wish to attend our meetings then, please send an email to our VP Membership (membership[at]mcgilltoastmasters.ca) to reserve a seat.

Joint Meeting - McGill TM and Outremont TM Clubs unite!

Yes, because our holidays fall on Tuesday this year (June 24 and July 1), we were invited and accepted to hold a joint club meeting with the Outremont Toastmasters Club for Monday June 23 and Monday June 30. Their meetings run from 19h00 - 21h00, and you can get there by the 80 Bus (from Place des Arts Metro station). The address of the club is:

YMCA du Parc, 5550 avenue du Parc, Salle 3D

I have sent the members on the McGill list instructions and asked who wants to do what role. As a guest, you can come if you want, just send Amin Karbassi an email letting him know of your intentions.

Hoping to see everyone there, and in great numbers,

Milan Kos, VP of Public Relations, McGill Toastmasters Club

Poll

In the light of concerns that exists about handshaking at the lectern during the flu season, do you think that the McGill TM club should temporarily dispense with this form of formal greeting?
