We will be hosting the area contest next Tuesday March 24 6:00-8:00 in room 1041 All contestants and members with roles must present themselves by 5:30 the latest. There is a price of admission: $5.00 for guests (members go free) Food and good times will be served. See everyone there!

Tip of the week 10 March 2009

When preparing to give a speech, refer to good speakers. However, we can also learn from speakers who are not so good. Also, if you begin your speech with a question, make sure it has a purpose within the speech.

We are part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping people improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills.

The McGill club is a very friendly club, with members of all ages and backgrounds. Membership is not restricted to McGill staff and students, but is open to anybody who wishes to come along.
