Meeting # 732

Our meeting yesterday was cute. It wasn’t your usual McGill Toastmasters meeting: party-like, energetic, packed with people, smashing it left and right, etc. No no no… But it was nice, because it felt kind of intimate. I guess a few candle lights, a romantic violinist playing in a corner of the room, and a smooth rosé would have been suitable for the evening. Let’s see what our next meeting will hold for us. I wonder what it will hold. I wonder… I wonder…
Check out the pics.

Raja, evaluating Azfan’s speech! Great job Raja, great job! If I were to evaluate you, that’s what I’d say. Plus a few points for improvement. (I speak to myself all the time…)

Cheryl sometimes asks us questions… It’s a good thing though.

Alain! Mr. table topics master! This role suits you. You sounded like a nurturing father. I’d like to take this role at some point and see if I sound like a nurturing father as well. But maybe I’ll sound like something else! who knows. Maybe like a penguin!!!!

Alex!! Our timer timing the people. People, this time you don’t need to rotate your head 90 degrees CCW to see her correctly. This time keep your head straight. She’s a young woman who has a lot of vitality, and she’s very responsive, and her action/reaction mechanisms are fast! She’s quick & sharp! Quick & sharp!

Willem’s shoes. Back to the basics: The good old NB. Ooooh yes.

Cheryl gently tickling Alain from behind… Alain first though it was a fly, and this picture captured him trying to SMASH the fly on his neck! but after a few tickles, he got sceptical and turned his head, and his eyes captured the photons bouncing off of Cheryl’s head! So he figured it wasn’t a fly after all, because if it was Cheryl tickling him, then it wasn’t a fly!!! What a discovery Alain made! I told you Alain gets to great conclusions by logical deductions!

Oooohhh :)
